The Serengeti–Ngorongoro circuit is the deepest safari experience in East Africa. Witness 1.5 million wildebeest on the move, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for some of the densest predator viewing on the continent, and stay in mobile camps that follow the herds month by month.

Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrival Kilimanjaro → Lake Manyara

   Meet on arrival at JRO. Transfer to Lake Manyara for an afternoon drive among tree-climbing lions and pink flamingo flocks.

2. Day 2

   Manyara → Serengeti

   Morning drive across the Rift Valley to Serengeti's Seronera region. Afternoon game drive en route - leopard and cheetah country.

3. Day 3

   Full day Serengeti

   Dawn-to-dusk in the Serengeti, following the migration herds and resident predators. Bush lunch in the Mara River area in season.

4. Day 4

   Serengeti → Ngorongoro

   Slow drive south with game viewing. Arrive at the crater rim by evening for sunset and a candlelit dinner.

5. Day 5

   Crater descent → Arusha

   Early descent into Ngorongoro Crater for half-day game drive. Picnic lunch on the floor, then transfer back to Arusha for evening departure.
