Three islands, one of the world's best beaches, granite boulders carved by time
The Seychelles archipelago - 115 granite and coral islands scattered 1,500 km off the East African coast - is the only mid-ocean granitic island chain on earth, geologically a fragment of the supercontinent Gondwana. Anse Source d'Argent on La Digue regularly tops 'world's best beach' lists thanks to its sculpted pink granite boulders, jade lagoon and powder sand. Praslin's Vallée de Mai is a UNESCO World Heritage primeval palm forest where the legendary coco de mer - the world's largest seed at up to 25kg - grows nowhere else on earth. Our 7-day island-hopping itinerary combines three islands by domestic flight and inter-island ferry, mixing 5-star resorts with boutique guesthouses for a balanced experience.
