Day 1
Arrival → Stone Town
Meet at Abeid Karume International Airport. Boutique hotel in Stone Town, late-afternoon walking tour ending at Forodhani Gardens night market.
Day 2
Spice tour → North coast
Morning spice farm visit, lunch with a local family, afternoon transfer to Nungwi or Kendwa beach resort.
Day 3
Mnemba Atoll & beach
Half-day snorkelling at Mnemba Atoll, lazy beach afternoon, sunset dhow cruise.
Day 4
Departure
Morning at leisure, transfer to airport for onward connection.

December and festive season 2026
Zanzibar is a short flight from Nairobi and works well over the festive period for couples and for families who want a beach base with something to explore. Flights, hotels and transfers are all quoted live because December inventory on the island moves quickly.
For families
Families usually settle on one beach base for the whole stay, with Stone Town, a spice farm and a boat trip taken as day outings. Tell us the ages of the children and we build the days around nap times, meal times and swimming.
For couples
Couples tend to split the stay between Stone Town and a quieter east or north coast beach, with sunset dhow time and a private dinner arranged in advance.
